My Store
Hi I'm Tania, founder of Two Lands Skin Care.

Between riding motorcycles, camping, and spending years outdoors in the harsh sun, wind, and weather, I saw firsthand what the elements can do to your skin. I started making natural botanical products originally for myself and my family wanting something gentle, nourishing, and made with ingredients I truly trusted. Inspired by the healing plants of New Zealand and Australia, what began as a personal journey slowly grew through the encouragement of family, friends, and my grandchildren. Today, every product is still made with the same care, purpose, and love created for real people, real skin, and everyday life.

Beeswax is a natural ingredient used to help protect and lock moisture into the skin. It gives our balms their rich, comforting texture while helping support dry, sensitive, and irritated skin naturally.

Tea Tree has long been valued for its natural cleansing and skin-supporting properties. Traditionally used in Australian botanical wellness, it is known for helping to maintain healthy skin and is often included in formulations designed to soothe and refresh tired, stressed areas of the body. In our Tūpākihi Balm, Tea Tree works alongside carefully selected ingredients to complement the warming and restorative qualities of the balm, making it a popular choice for massage, muscle comfort, and everyday wellbeing.

Coconut Oil is a nourishing natural oil used to help soften, moisturise, and protect the skin. Rich in essential fatty acids, it works beautifully alongside our botanical ingredients to support dry, sensitive, and irritated skin while leaving the skin feeling smooth and comforted naturally.

Mango Butter is a beautifully rich yet gentle plant butter prized for its deeply nourishing and skin-softening properties. Naturally rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, it helps support the skin barrier while providing lasting moisture without feeling overly heavy or greasy.

We chose Mango Butter as one of the signature base butters in our formulations because it works beautifully alongside our key botanical ingredients. Its creamy, soothing nature helps comfort dry, sensitive, and irritated skin while allowing the healing qualities of Kawakawa, Kakadu Plum, and other traditional botanicals to absorb beautifully into the skin.

Known for helping improve softness, hydration, and overall skin comfort, Mango Butter is especially loved in products created for dry, delicate, and problem-prone skin.

Harakeke, also known as New Zealand Flax, is a treasured native plant of Aotearoa traditionally valued for its nourishing and protective qualities. Rich in essential fatty acids, Harakeke Seed Oil helps support dry, sensitive skin while leaving the skin feeling soft, comforted, and naturally cared for.

Shea Butter is a deeply nourishing plant butter traditionally treasured for its ability to moisturise, protect, and comfort dry or sensitive skin. Naturally rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, Shea Butter helps support the skin barrier while leaving the skin feeling soft, smooth, and replenished.

We chose to blend Shea Butter into our formulations because of its beautiful ability to work in harmony with our healing botanicals, including Kawakawa, Kakadu Plum, and Tea Tree Oil. Its rich, creamy texture helps lock in moisture and soothe skin affected by dryness, irritation, itchiness, eczema, and environmental stress.

Gentle and comforting, Shea Butter helps create a protective layer over the skin while allowing our carefully selected botanical ingredients to nurture and restore healthy-looking skin naturally.

Kawakawa Balm

Kawakawa has long been treasured within Māori healing traditions, rongoā Māori, for its gentle yet deeply restorative properties. Revered as a plant of healing and protection, kawakawa was traditionally used to soothe skin irritations, calm inflammation, and support the body’s natural healing processes. Beyond its physical benefits, kawakawa holds deep cultural significance, symbolising care, connection, and the relationship between people and the land. When used respectfully, it honours both wellbeing and whakapapa nurturing the skin while acknowledging the ancestral wisdom lovingly passed down through generations.

Kawakawa Baby Balm

Our Kawakawa Baby Balm from Two Lands Skin Care is lovingly crafted with soothing botanical ingredients traditionally valued for helping calm, comfort, and protect delicate skin. Perfect for caring for dry, sensitive cheeks and little patches of irritation, this nourishing balm is handmade in small batches with love, simplicity, and respect for nature.

Gentle, natural care for precious pēpi inspired by the wisdom of the land and the nurturing touch of tradition.

Tupakihi Muscle Balm

Tūpākihi is a native New Zealand plant with a long cultural history. Recognised for its powerful natural compounds, it has traditionally been associated with healing and restorative practices, particularly in supporting physical recovery and easing discomfort within the body. Traditionally, it was valued for helping soothe tired muscles, support aching joints, and assist the body after physical strain. In modern formulations, tūpākihi is carefully handled and used for external applications only, where it is appreciated in topical preparations designed to comfort muscles and support overall body wellbeing.

Comfrey has been valued in traditional herbal care for centuries. Historically known as “knitbone,” it was treasured by herbalists for its association with supporting the body’s natural repair and recovery processes. Rich in naturally occurring allantoin, comfrey is traditionally used to help soothe irritation, comfort dry or stressed skin, and support soft, healthy-looking skin. Its gentle, restorative nature has made it a long-respected botanical in topical skincare and wellness preparations

Roman Chamomile (Chamaemelum Nobile) is one of the gentlest essential oils used in skincare, loved for its calming and comforting nature. Its name comes from ancient Rome, where it was traditionally valued for its soothing and nurturing properties.Traditionally, Roman Chamomile has been used to help calm sensitive, irritated, or stressed skin, making it a beautiful choice for delicate complexions and skin needing extra care.To keep it especially skin-friendly, we use Roman Chamomile diluted to 3% in Certified Organic Jojoba oil. Jojoba is a lightweight botanical oil that closely mimics the skin’s natural sebum, helping to support hydration and balance without feeling heavy or greasy.Together, Roman Chamomile and Jojoba oil create a gentle, nurturing blend that supports calm, comfort, and skin balance ideal for sensitive and delicate skin.

Kakadu plum oil is derived from the fruit of the native Australian Kakadu plum and is renowned as one of the highest natural sources of Vitamin C in the world. This makes it a highly valued ingredient in natural skincare.Vitamin C plays an important role in supporting healthy skin by helping to brighten the complexion, encourage a more even skin tone, and support the skin’s natural collagen production. In oil form, Kakadu plum is especially suitable for sensitive skin, as it delivers these benefits in a gentle, nourishing way.At Two Lands Skin Care, we value Kakadu plum oil not only for its effectiveness, but also for its connection to the land and its long history of traditional use.
